The Missionaries of Charity in Tanger take care of children, since they are babies until 4 years old. Some of them live with their mothers in the house. The MC Sisters teach the mothers to take care of the children, and to learn primary aids, cares, nutrition and health.There is also a kinder garden for 19 children who live in poor districts and while their mothers go to work they leave them with the MC Sisters. The Missionaries give them clothes, food and medicins.There is also a big area of the house where the MC Sisters take care of woman with cancer.Once a week they give meals to the children who live on the street, they give them a good shower, clean clothes and food.
How to go to Tanger?
By plane: To Tanger’s airport, it’s 20 minutes far from the MC Sisters.
By train: To Algeciras (Spain).Once in Algeciras you can take a boat, a Ferry to Tanger’s Port.They last one hour or two, depending on the boat you take.

Where to sleep in Tanger?
“Escuelas Españolas”, Colegio Mayor de las Franciscanas de María, C/Casa Riera nº 1. Zocco Chico. Tel.: 00.212.993.1012. It is a nice Spanish school close to the MC House. There are single and double use rooms, very simples but clean, some of them have inside bathroom. The price is good and it includes the 3 meals.- In the House of the Missionaries of Charity, rue Siaghins 51, Zocco Chico.
